HELP & DETAILS

Using this tool

Requirements can vary by application.
Steps
  1. Open the PDF workspace and add one or more PDF files.
  2. Choose an action such as merge, page organization, split, page numbering, or export.
  3. Use the page preview and order controls to check the result before exporting.
  4. Open the downloaded PDF and confirm pages, text, links, and layout remain suitable.
Organize PDF pages
  • Merge several PDFs into one document.
  • Reorder, remove, and rotate pages or split by page ranges.
  • Add page numbers or export selected pages as images.
Understand compression choices

The workspace can attempt a lossless structural optimization. It also offers image-based compression by rendering pages at a selected resolution and JPEG quality. Image-based compression is lossy and removes searchable text, links, forms, and vector detail. Always inspect the exported file.

Private browser processing

PDF parsing, preview, OCR, and conversion happen locally in your browser. Large files may need substantial memory and processing time.

Common questions
Can I merge multiple PDF files?

Yes. Add multiple PDFs in the workspace and use the merge workflow, then check the resulting page order.

Will compression preserve searchable text?

Lossless structural optimization is an attempt to preserve content. Image-based compression rasterizes pages and removes searchable text and interactive elements.

Are uploaded PDFs stored online?

No. The workspace processes the selected files in your browser; ReadyLens does not receive or store them.

Application rules differ and can change. Confirm dimensions, formats, and size limits in the latest official instructions. ReadyLens does not guarantee acceptance by an external portal.
