Photo resizer

Prepare a digital photo for an online application by setting its pixel dimensions, crop, format, and optional file-size range. ReadyLens processes the image in your browser, so the photo itself is not uploaded to our server.

HELP & DETAILS

Using this tool

Requirements can vary by application.
Steps
  1. Open the photo resizer and choose a clear image from your device.
  2. Enter the width and height required by the application, then adjust the crop and framing in the preview.
  3. Choose an allowed output format and, if needed, enter the minimum and maximum file size.
  4. Export the image, then check its dimensions and file size against the current application instructions.
Resize to the requirements you were given

There is no single photo size that works for every application. Enter the exact pixel dimensions and accepted file-size range shown in the official form or notice. If dimensions are stated in millimetres or centimetres, confirm the required resolution before converting them to pixels.

Crop, preview, and export

Use the crop and framing controls to keep the subject positioned correctly before downloading. JPEG and WebP exports can adjust compression quality to approach a file-size limit. PNG does not use a quality slider, so its file size may remain outside a requested range.

Keep your photo private
  • Photo processing runs locally in the browser.
  • No account is needed and the tool does not receive your photo.
  • Review the exported result before uploading it to any portal.
Common questions
Can I resize a photo to an exact KB size?

You can enter a minimum and maximum size. For JPEG and WebP, the tool adjusts compression quality to try to fit that range. The result is best-effort; PNG size cannot be controlled with a quality setting.

Will resizing make my photo meet every application rule?

It can change dimensions, framing, format, and file size, but it cannot verify identity-photo rules such as background, face position, recency, or other portal-specific requirements. Check the official instructions.

Does ReadyLens upload or store my photo?

No. The image is processed in your browser and is not uploaded to ReadyLens.

Application rules differ and can change. Confirm dimensions, formats, and size limits in the latest official instructions. ReadyLens does not guarantee acceptance by an external portal.
