Using this tool
Steps
- Scan or photograph the signature on clean, bright paper and select the image.
- Set the required width and height, then adjust the background-removal threshold while reviewing the result.
- Choose transparent PNG or JPEG with a white background; add a file-size range if the instructions require one.
- Download and inspect the signature at full size before submitting it.
Get a cleaner signature scan
Use dark, clear ink and even lighting. A plain background helps the threshold control separate light paper from the ink. If the threshold is too strong, thin strokes can disappear; compare the preview with your original.
Choose a suitable output
- PNG can preserve transparency but its size cannot be tuned using an image-quality slider.
- JPEG uses a white background and can adjust compression quality toward a requested file-size range.
- Use the dimensions and format specified by the application, not a generic preset.
Privacy and review
The signature is processed on your device. ReadyLens does not receive the file. Automated background cleanup can change thin or pale strokes, so review the downloaded result before using it.

Can I make my signature transparent?
Yes. Choose PNG to export the cleaned signature with a transparent background. JPEG exports with a white background.
Can the tool meet an exact file-size limit?
JPEG quality is adjusted to try to meet a specified range. PNG has no quality-based size control, so check the actual downloaded file size.
What if the signature looks faint after cleanup?
Move the background threshold and inspect the preview. Use a clearer, higher-contrast scan if strokes are being removed.
